Energize Yourself for Success

What would you say if I were to tell you that you’re meant to be healthy and energized?

And that once you recognize and accept this, it’s simply a case of learning the key health principles that you need to follow to create Unlimited Health in your life.
In fact, if we backtrack a little here, you may even be asking yourself why we bother with this whole health thing at all? What’s the big deal anyway?

And that’s a good question. Why should you worry about the niggling neck pain you get every couple of months, and the wheezing you notice when you run more than 10 yards? Or the indigestion you get after your big evening meal or even the migraines that you only get once a month these days? Does this sound like someone you know at all? Could this be you?

Look, let’s say you can live with that lot, even though the prescription bills tend to mount up by the end of the month and you sometimes feel a bit queasy if you take too many different types of medication all at once. But what happens if something a little more alarming happens, once your body’s taken just about all it can?

Hw would you feel if you woke up tomorrow and you found out that you’d inherited heart disease? And let’s say you were told you only had four years left to live, unless you take medication for the rest of your life…every day?

Do you think you would stop and think for a minute, about life, the universe and everything?

Well, that’s what happened for me when I had my wake up call. You see my dad died very suddenly 14 year ago. He quite literally dropped dead one day in December, just before Christmas, of a massive heart attack. No warning, no ‘hang on a minute, slow down a bit’…nothing.

And to say this was a shock is an understatement. My dad was everyone’s version of health. He wasn’t your average unfit couch potato, he was in good shape. Or so we all thought.

Now I realize I was comparing myself to dad at the time when he died; I was overweight, often found watching the TV, and prone to snack attacks consuming giant chocolate bars in one sitting…at least 3 times a week. It was impressive. And then there was the alcohol consumption; I’d drink about twenty pints of lager in a weekend and I was the number one party smoker. You know the ones who preach about how bad smoking is for you and then go and get sozzled and smoke a whole packet in one go?

It’s not that it was all worth it either! I can remember feeling full of remorse as I woke up on a Sunday morning to nausea, shortness of breath, sinus congestion, slight shaking and abdominal pains. And for years I didn’t seem to get it...

My overall health was pretty ‘average’; I had chronic sinus congestion, variable mood swings, terrible regular migraines, asthma, chronic period pain and various joint pains.

Now imagine this. Within 3 months of dad’s death, I’d lost 9 kilos in weight, and my previous health challenges had resolved. Yes really!

Results like this can and do happen every day. This wasn’t like the fads I’d been on with dieting and exercise regimes that I only seemed to be able to stick to for a few weeks at a time. The extra weight came off and it stayed off.

And an added bonus is I now have more energy than I’ve ever had in my life…EVER! And I’m happier and healthier than I was when I was 19 years old.

What I’ve found over the last 15 years of studying what it takes to be and stay healthy, what I call ‘Vibrant Living’, is that it’s all about finding ways to create new habits that really do work for you, rather than hold you back from having the health you so rightfully deserve.

Because we’re actually meant to be healthy. That’s our natural state of being. We’re designed to be raring to go after 5-6 hours sleep a night and ready to meet our day with vibrant energy…

We’re designed to mostly eat foods that are easy to break down, rather than be at the mercy of food cravings…

Vibrant Living is about building habits that work for you…just like we deliberately build our muscles up when we go and work out at the gym. We follow a process that builds up new habits, so the whole process of being and staying healthy pretty well takes care of itself.

When you stop and think about it, can you see it makes sense that the results you’re getting right now in your life with your health, are a sum total of your current beliefs, thought patterns and habits?

So, it follows that to get different results, we need to review and reset our beliefs and thought patterns, which in turn create our habits. And it usually takes 28 days to create a new habit. Your brain literally needs to do some ‘rewiring’ between nerve cells to create a new pattern of behaviour.

After Dad’s sudden death I decided to find out everything I could to make sure I became as healthy as I possible. You see, I’d been told by the medical experts that I had four years to live unless I took medication everyday for the rest of my life!

Bear in mind that I was only 21 when they told me this. This was one big wake up call! I decided to trial different ways of improving my health because I was determined to avoid having to take medication every day. And I was committed to living longer than my 25th birthday.

So I condensed down the information I found over the next few years into several basic steps I needed to take to achieve my goals. You now have access to what I learned so you can speed up your learning curve and achieve your goals faster than I did.

You have access to the steps you need to take to not only reach your health goals…and to maintain yourself at that level of health. Remember, you need to build up your healthy muscles to maintain the new you.

Does this sound odd?

I certainly felt the same way when I first heard about this concept. And what I’ve found is this concept is one of the most profound influences on the results that I achieve in all areas of my life, not just my health.

Another important observation I’ve made is that to get really good at something . . in our case having and maintaining Vibrant Health, we need to immerse ourselves in the subject and read, listen and take action with everything we can get our hands on. And then we reach the point of mastering it.

So, you’ve probably gathered by now that it’s not just about blitzing it in the gym to create the body of your dreams…getting your mind in gear too is what really accelerates you for success with your health goals, and creates a pattern of Vibrant Health and Vibrant Living in your life. Your mind coordinates all the processes in your body, so to have your mind working in tandem with your physical body means MAJOR results are possible…and I mean MAJOR.

It’s worth bearing in mind at this point one of the Vibrant Living Tools we’ve had great results with. That the results we get on the surface are only a small piece of the whole picture and that there’s a lot going on beneath the surface that shapes the results we get. It actually all begins with your core beliefs…who you are as a person. In many ways, what’s going on outside; in your life, is actually a reflection of what’s going on inside. So, to make sure we get what we desire on the outside, we may need to have a look at what’s going on inside. It’s ideal to explore this for yourself in more detail so you have a road map to follow. Again; it’s about learning from those who’ve gone before you and succeeded.

Consistency is the key to whatever plan or program you decide to follow. And it can work for you. The only reason I’ve achieved what I have and been able to help literally thousands of others, is because I HAVE applied principals that I’ve condensed down into the Vibrant Living Tools . . .I’ve taken action with persistence, and you can too. I’ve made that decision that I deserve the very best, taken massive action and I really am enjoying the results…and you can too.

Keep in mind that there are going to be times when things don’t work out the way you thought they would. Or when you forget to follow through with the program you’ve chosen, or maybe things just don’t seem to go the way you’d planned. Perhaps it’s last night’s binging on chicken wings that has you feeling like you’re going backwards.

This happens for everyone from time to time. We’re all human. It’s not what happens that’s significant, it’s what you do when it happens that separates those who succeed from those who give up and accept defeat . . . sometimes just inches from their goals.

Which club do you choose to be a part of? The victors or the victims? It’s up to you; it’s your decision.

OK, so you’ve had this particular challenge and you choose to be the victor; what now?

Decide right now that you’ll spend a few minutes each day practicing and enjoying some basic tools and skills to help you achieve your goals. The Vibrant Living tools I mentioned earlier can help create the habit patterns to help you through the challenging times if and when they come.

And remember this . . . The pain of discipline is much easier to take than the pain of regret. This is the part where you need to take a look at what’s happening with the course you’re now steering towards your health goals, work out what you need to do to get back on course, and recommit to the goal. This may involve taking action to steer back on course.

Quick question for you . . .How would it feel if you didn’t achieve your health goals?

What will happen if you’re still tucking in to chocolate cake and going on crash diets in five years time? What will happen to your self esteem, your relationships, your work? What’s the real impact for you of not achieving your goals?

I recommend that you arm yourself with a stash of Vibrant Living Tools to help you make your goals a reality…that is, once you’re clear on what you’re creating.

I mentioned earlier about the state of my health when I was 19 years old. Now, my life couldn’t be more of a contrast…I no longer have those symptoms and I’m constantly being asked by people…I’m literally stopped in the street, how come I look so healthy? What’s my magic bullet and can they have some of it?!

And really there’s no short answer, as you’ve realized by now. As we mentioned earlier, the best way to get good at what you desire is to find someone who’s achieved your desire and go and do some market research on them. Which is what I did...

So, you’re welcome to use what I have learned over the last fifteen years to help you take a short cut and avoid some of my pitfalls and benefit from what I’ve learned. Now you may have noticed that there’s some negative programming out there when it comes to health. We see images all the time of people dying in road accidents and we hear statistics of ever increasing deaths and disability from heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Sometimes it can be challenging to remember that we can take charge of our own health and realise that we have a choice about whether we’re a part of the next statistic. This is where taking charge and following your chosen program to achieve your health goals, and following it on a regular basis, really does get results. After following through consistently over at least 28 days you’ll have built up your Action Muscle to follow through on applying your chosen program in your life so that you dramatically increase your chances of succeeding with your health goals. Think of it this way, what if you don’t follow through on your program and you’re still where you are now in 1 year, 2 years . . .even 5 years from now? How will that make you feel?

And maybe you’re thinking ‘That’s all very well to say…how can following a program over 4 weeks really have an impact on my weight, or my ability to walk up steep hills without wheezing?’ . . .good question. I can certainly relate to that viewpoint! I understand how you’d feel the way you do here, because that’s how I used to feel. I used to feel that I’d have to eat rabbit food and miss out on all the things that I enjoyed to look the way I wanted to. And then I discovered the power of the Vibrant Living Tools which are part of my CD set Unlimited Health. I’ve realised and experienced the power of applying what I now know and reaping the rewards of those efforts.

How do you feel when you imagine yourself in your favourite jeans or your favourite suit? Just pause to think of how good these clothes feel to wear and how positive you feel inside…all the compliments you get…

And how delicious it is to eat nutritious foods…you can feel them giving you energy and you start to feel a whole new level of wellbeing that you’ve never felt before as your body begins to glow from the inside out.

You’re intelligent enough to make your own choice of the reality you choose; to live in a reality that’s based on ignorance and in which you experience the pain of hoping your problems will fix themselves, or the reality of Vibrant Living in which your body’s energised…every day...so you’re more than ready to live the life of your dreams. These results aren’t just for a select group of people; they’re for everyone . . .all it takes is to take action with a program that works best for you, everyday. It’s time to take control of your health…and reap the rewards you deserve.
